Finnish Network Operator Digita Oy has signed a long-term contract with Suomen Virveverkko Oy, which forms part of the State Security Networks Group Finland, on construction and installation services for the Virve network, which is being overhauled. The agreement will be valid for four years.

The Virve network is the
national radio network for public services, whose users include the public
authorities, municipalities, and other actors critical to national emergency
supply. Digita maintains communications networks considered critical to society
and provides reliable network services for terrestrial TV and radio
broadcasting, and for telecommunications networks.
