Riku Helander, Managing Director

Riku Helander joined Digita in October 2024 and was appointed Managing Director in April 2026. Riku joined Digita from the Management team of Normet Group Oy, where he was responsible for the Service Business. Riku has extensive and diverse international experience in leading and developing business, sales, and marketing in the technology industry. His career includes leadership roles at Cisco, Juniper Networks, and Nokia.

Tom Jungell, SVP Broadcast
M.Sc. (Econ.)

Tom Jungell has been appointed SVP Broadcast of Digita as of 1 August 2023. Tom joins Digita from the position of CEO at Kärkimedia Oy. He has extensive and diverse experience in the media market and in managing media and advertising agencies. In addition to Kärkimedia, Tom’s work history includes CEO positions at Footbalance System Oy, Omnicom Media Group, OMD Finland Oy, Moduleo Oy and advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi Oy.

Jani Koskinen, CFO
M.Sc. (Econ.)

Jani Koskinen has been appointed CFO of Digita Oy as of 1 August 2021. Jani will join the company from the position of CFO and deputy CEO of Reima Oy, a children’s clothing manufacturer. Prior to this, he served for several years at MTV as management team member, deputy CEO, CFO and Head of Strategy. Earlier in his career, Jani has been responsible for the financial operations of several Finnish consumer brands, such as Tammi and WSOY, Iittala and Fiskars.

Elina Lehtomäki, SVP Customer Services

Elina Lehtomäki joined Digita 7 August 2023 from Caruna Oy, where she worked as electricity network director since 2021. Lehtomäki has over 10 years of leadership experience in the electrical infrastructure and customer service fields. In 2018–2021, Elina Lehtomäki worked as Caruna’s Development Director. Prior to Caruna, Lehtomäki worked as an advisor at Finnish Energy.

Sanna Tuominen, CLO
Master of Laws (LL.M), Trained on the bench

Sanna Tuominen is responsible for the company’s legal and regulatory affairs. Sanna has over 20 years of international experience in the telecommunications, energy and banking sectors. Before starting in her current role, Sanna worked as the Head of M&A Legal at the TDF Group, and before that among others at Yleisradio, Fortum and Danske Bank.

Mervi Leipijärvi, CHRO
M.Sc. (Econ.)

Mervi Leipijärvi has 15 years of international personnel management experience in the technology and service sectors. Mervi joins Digita from HPP Asiajatoimisto Oy, where she has been HR director since 2020. Previously, he has worked as Staria’s HR director in 2018 – 2020 and before that in personnel management positions at Kone.
