The following things have been clarified:

  • Refined storage periods; the retention period of consumer customer service and sales call recordings has been separated and otherwise the retention period has been reduced to a maximum of 8 years to 5 years.
  • Clarification added that subscription information for pay TV services is also processed.
  • The use of subcontractors and enabling processing outside the EU/EEA area is possible when an adequate level of data protection is taken care of.
