Riku Helander appointed CEO of Digita

Digita’s Board of Directors announces the appointment of Riku Helander, M.Sc. (Eng.), as CEO of Digita, effective May 1, 2026. Vesa Tykkyläinen, who has led the company since 2019, will step down following a tenure during which he supported Digita’s growth and transformation.

Riku Helander brings more than 20 years of international experience in driving business performance and leading sales and marketing in the technology industry. His career includes executive roles at Normet Group, Cisco, Juniper Networks, and Nokia. Since joining Digita in 2024, Helander has led the company’s Telecom business.
