Realia, a provider of housing and real estate management services throughout Finland, and the technology company Digita Oy have agreed to cooperate to enable the best mobile connections for the properties managed by Realia. Within the framework of Digita and Realia’s cooperation, Realia will offer its customers a 5G base station location management service implemented through Digita in the future.

The importance of digital infrastructure is emphasised as the requirements for housing comfort and functioning data connections increase. Smart properties are becoming more common and the traffic volume of wireless network connections used in real estate is increasing dramatically. Ensuring the quality and capacity of mobile network connections requires a comprehensive base station network. In a densely built urban environment, base stations are often located in buildings and on the roofs of buildings.
