Digita, CoreGo and Nokia pioneer private 5G solutions to enhance connectivity and safety at major events

Helsinki, Finland, 3 February 2026 - Digita and CoreGo, together with Nokia, have joined forces to develop a new private 5G solution to improve both the user experience and operational control at large-scale public events.
The collaboration builds on extensive experience in private 5G networks and event operations and demonstrates how advanced connectivity and real-time situational awareness can redefine the way major gatherings are managed and experienced.
The solution combines high-performance private wireless connectivity with operational intelligence, supporting immersive media, smarter operations and safer crowd management in demanding live environments.
Private 5G foundation
Built on Digita’s dedicated private wireless network to ensure secure, high-capacity and low-latency performance in large and complex event venues.
- Immersive media and situational visibility
The private 5G private wireless also enables an entirely new immersive viewing experience. By leveraging Nokia’s Real‑time eXtended Reality Multimedia (RXRM) software and its 5G 360 Camera with 8K technology, event organizers can deliver next‑generation broadcasting and provide real‑time situational awareness for security and operations teams. This combination offers unprecedented visibility in live event environments.
- Predictive crowd insights
In addition to enhanced visibility, the private 5G platform supports predictive crowd management. 5G‑connected drones and sensors provide live data on crowd movement and venue dynamics, improving both safety and flow while enabling more proactive decision‑making.
The solution helps event organizers anticipate congestion, coordinate safety measures and enhance the overall visitor experience through data-driven insights.
