Technology company Digita Oy and housing investment company SATO Oyj have agreed on cooperation to enable the best mobile connections of the future for SATO’s properties.

“We want to ensure the best mobile connections for our customers around Finland. Nowadays, working and fast network connections are a basic prerequisite in housing with the increasing use of streaming services and people working remotely more and more”, says Yaron Nadbornik, Director of Purchasing at SATO.

“Digita is an excellent partner to coordinate the utilisation of our properties as base stations on our behalf. We focus on our core business of providing the best housing and business premises to our customers”, says Nadbornik. “In the future, we will be able to serve operators better and more flexibly in finding suitable base station locations”, Nadbornik describes the
benefits of the cooperation.

This will allow us t  serve our operator customers more comprehensively and help develop mobile networks in Finland”, says Digita’s Chief Operating Officer Markus Ala-Hautala. “Digita will continue to lease SATO’s properties for use as base stations. In practice, this means that Digita will enter into an agreement with mobile operators and is responsible for all leasing and contract management related to telecom operations going forward”, Ala-Hautala describes Digita’s role in the cooperation.
