Digita Invests Significantly in Data Centers 

A lot of new data center capacity has been built and is under construction in Finland. The increased capacity requires edge network services to support streaming and interactive services and fast connections between data centers. Digita has significantly invested in its Data Center business in recent years. With the data center opened in the spring of 2023, which meets the highest security requirements, we can serve a growing number of international and domestic customers.

The data center connected to the district cooling network of the City of Helsinki is top-notch in terms of energy efficiency, and the electricity consumed by Digita is sourced from renewable energy sources,” continues Helander. 

Our data center services are used by international telecommunications operators, local cloud service providers, and various service platforms such as social and other media service providers. 

Data center capacity is tailored to customer needs, meeting high availability, physical security, and ecological efficiency requirements. 

The data centers with excellent telecommunications connections are located at the most central telecommunications hub, which also has an internet traffic exchange point. About 30 telecommunications operators are present at our hub. 

High-quality expert services are provided by experienced and security-cleared personnel, who are responsible for comprehensive customer service, monitoring, maintenance, and expert tasks in various technologies, allowing for very quick responses to disruptions and rapid changes.
