Digita acquires Cinia’s tower business
Technology company Digita and Cinia Oy, a high-availability data network and software solutions provider, have signed an agreement to transfer Cinia's tower business to Digita. The transaction will provide Digita with approximately 100 telecommunications towers, which will complement Digita's nationwide tower portfolio.
“Our goal is to invest in the provision of digital services in the areas of data network, software and cyber security solutions, and in data network ownership to focus even more strongly on fixed networks,” says Ari-Jussi Knaapila, CEO of Cinia.
“We are very pleased with the M&A agreement we have made with Cinia. The acquisition strengthens our Telecom growth strategy, and with the new telecommunications towers, we will be able to offer our customers more comprehensive digital infrastructure services as the country’s largest independent telecommunications mast owner”, says Vesa Tykkyläinen, CEO of Digita.
